DESIGN: Wide yellow band w/brown pin dots around rims – colorful baskets of fruit in center – dark brown highlights on inner rims and handles
BACKSTAMP: Directoire – Wedgwood – Etruria , England – Importe d’Angleterre – U.S.A. Patent No. 52648
IMPRESSED MARK: Wedgwood plus date letters: 4YA (for 1924) – “Made In England ” on several of the pieces – also handwritten pattern numbers
The saucer is 5″ – 12cm. in diameter.
The soup cup is 5″ – 12cm. includes handles.
A wonderful set with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
